During my stay, I loved the friendly atmosphere and the delicious breakfast, and I was thrilled by how close it was to Windermere Jetty Museum of Boats, making it super easy to enjoy a nice walk along the lake and discover the surrounding shops and cafes nearby. as a single traveler, I appreciated having all the essentials in my room, but the cleanliness could use a bit more attention.

the location is really good, right in the middle of town. the staff are super friendly and helped me a lot. rooms are warm and cozy, i felt right at home. breakfast was yum and cooked just how i wanted. i got moved to an upgraded room with no problem.

the shower pressure was kinda low and the decor felt a bit dated.

Breakfast options were great, I appreciated being able to customize my full English. the decor felt a bit dated, especially in the bathroom, which could use some refreshing. The bed was comfortable but squeaky, a little annoying at times. Parking was a bit tight. I had to squeeze into a small space. I enjoyed the homely feel but left wishing for some modern touches in the room.

lakes lodge is a great place to stay. the beds were comfy and the full english breakfast was amazing. it's just a short walk to the high street, and there's free parking. the owner is a character, and I enjoyed the laughs we had. definitely worth it for a fun stay.

We had a comfy stay for 3 nights. The staff were super friendly and let us leave our bags before check-in. Location was fab, just a couple of mins to the train station. Breakfast was tasty and filling. The room was nice, but a bit on the small side which made it a tad cramped. Would recommend it!
